DOT Physicals
Available at: Sango · Dover
DOT physicals at our Sango and Dover clinics — done by clinicians on the FMCSA National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes; pass and you walk out with your Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) the same visit.
Who we see
- New CDL applicants
- CDL renewals
- Return-to-duty exams after a medical event
What to bring
- Driver’s license or current CDL
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC), if this is a renewal
- A complete list of medications, doses, and prescribers
- Glasses or contacts (and your prescription if you have it)
- Hearing aids, if you use them
- CPAP compliance report, if you have sleep apnea
- Records of any recent surgery, hospital stay, or specialist visit (heart, diabetes, sleep)
If a finding needs follow-up
Most drivers leave with a 2-year certificate. If something needs attention — blood pressure that runs above the FMCSA limit on the day, an unresolved sleep-apnea question, or a specialist note we’d like to see — we’ll talk through it together. That can mean a 3-month temporary card while you address it, a recheck visit, or a quick note from your specialist.

DOT physicals are self-pay; they don’t bill through health insurance. Call the clinic for the current rate.
